In this program, attorney Lindsay Lieberman—who represents victims of cyber abuse and technology-facilitated exploitation—will break down the biggest online threats children face today and offer practical strategies parents can use to protect their kids. The discussion will cover topics including sextortion, non-consensual image sharing, AI-generated exploitation, and how families can respond when digital harm occurs.

Lindsay Lieberman is the founder and managing attorney of Lindsay Lieberman, LLC, a legal services and consulting firm focused on cyber abuse, digital exploitation, and other forms of gender-based violence. Through her practice, she represents survivors in civil litigation, family court, and related proceedings, and works closely with families navigating the legal and safety challenges that arise in today’s digital landscape.
In addition to representing victims of technology-facilitated abuse, Lindsay regularly trains parents, schools, law enforcement agencies, and community organizations on digital safety, cyberbullying, sextortion, and the legal tools available to protect children online.
Lindsay is licensed to practice law in Washington, DC, New York, New Jersey, and Rhode Island. She is also an adjunct professor at Salve Regina University, where she teaches courses on gender-based violence and the law. Prior to starting her firm, Lindsay was a senior attorney at a leading sexual privacy law firm and previously served as a sex crimes prosecutor in Brooklyn, New York.
